Product Overview: Pocket Trauma Kit
Known widely as the Original Patrol Officer Pocket Trauma Kit (POPTK), this Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) is not limited to law enforcement personnel. It was carefully designed for anyone who wants to be prepared for major bleeding incidents.
The concept for this kit originated from the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) Conference held in San Marcos, TX. During the conference, several department members highlighted the crucial need for every officer to have a Self Aid / Buddy Aid kit when entering high-risk zones. However, due to budget constraints at the time, even basic trauma kits offered by Rescue Essentials were financially out of reach for individual patrol officers.
After incorporating feedback from NTOA members who tested the kit, Rescue Essentials introduced the Patrol Officer Pocket Trauma Kit, a product tailored for both law enforcement and the general public.
