True Rescue, an official licensee of the U.S. Department of Defense's STOP THE BLEED program, is a nationwide leader in bleeding control supplies. Their life-saving kits are designed to address serious bleeding and hemorrhaging, making them essential for mass casualty incidents, accidental injuries, natural disasters, vehicular accidents, incidents involving farming equipment, and everyday emergencies.

Bleeding Control Supplies

Three Levels of Kits Available

Standard Kits

Each Standard bleeding control kit includes essential equipment for responding to uncontrolled bleeding emergencies. Customers can choose from three tourniquets: Stretch, Wrap, and Tuck Tourniquet (SWAT-T), Combat Application Tourniquet; Gen 7 (C-A-T), or SAM Medical Extremity Tourniquet (SAMXT).

Intermediate Kits

Intermediate kits build on the Standard kits' contents, adding a Hyfin chest seal twin-pack. They also offer the same choice of tourniquets: SWAT-T, C-A-T, or SAMXT.

Premium Kits

Premium kits expand on the Intermediate kits by including NuStat hemostatic dressing in addition to the tourniquet choices of SWAT-T, C-A-T, or SAMXT.

Kit Components

Tourniquets

Each kit includes top-tier hemorrhage-stopping tourniquets: C-A-T, SAMXT, and SWAT-T. The C-A-T and SAMXT are endorsed by TCCC and meet ANSI 2021 guidelines.

Gauze

All kits contain high-quality, 6-ply sterile gauze. Standard and Intermediate kits include two packs of compressed gauze (4.5" x 4.1 yards) for pressure dressing. Premium kits contain one pack of compressed gauze and one hemostatic dressing.

Emergency Trauma Dressings

Emergency trauma dressings (ETD), sized 6" x 52", are used for abdominal wounds or other areas needing compression. These sterile dressings include an extra combine pad and multiple Velcro strips for secure application.

Optional: Hemostatic Dressings

Premium kits feature hemostatic dressings with kaolin to accelerate clotting, crucial for packing wounds near the bleeding source.

Optional: Chest Seals

Intermediate and Premium kits include a chest seal twin-pack, essential for treating penetrating thoracic wounds, especially gunshot wounds, by covering both entry and exit points.

Trauma Shears

All kits include heavy-duty trauma shears for removing clothing obstructing treatment.

Marker

A permanent marker is included to number victims and record the application time of devices like tourniquets.

Emergency Blanket

Emergency blankets help keep victims comfortable and prevent shock while awaiting responders.

Nitrile Gloves

Each kit contains two pairs of nitrile gloves to ensure PPE for responders, with a spare pair for additional responders or in case of damage.
