Product Description: The Individual Response KIT II (IRK II) provides a compact and effective approach to bleeding control. It was developed in cooperation with the Central Georgia’s Region F Healthcare Preparedness Coalition and the Region 5 Regional Trauma Advisory Council for a school preparedness initiative. Intended to provide "non-traditional" lay responders, such as teachers and individuals without extensive medical training, with a compact and affordable kit to stop life-threatening bleeding and provide basic, potentially life-saving care prior to the arrival of professional rescuers.
